Are Ride A Pet Game Passes Worth It?

Ride A Pet's store is unusually small, and most of it is closed. Here is exactly what the official API reports, what each pass would do, and the honest case for buying or not buying the one that is available.

Data cross-verified against official Roblox APIs and community sources · verified Sept 2026 · how we source and label every number

1. What the official API actually shows

Ride A Pet has four game passes: Infinite Radar (399 Robux, on sale), Auto Collect, Instant Hatch and Infinite Backpack. Only Infinite Radar is currently purchasable — the other three are listed but not on sale.

This is official data read directly from Roblox's game-passes API rather than community reporting, which makes it the most reliable page of its kind for this game. Competing sites have published passes that do not exist.

Because availability changes, the authoritative check is the game's own store page on Roblox.

2. Infinite Radar (399 Robux) — the one on sale

The documented radar mechanic is that each radar tracks one rarity band, radars cannot be toggled off, and the shop has an Auto-Buy switch that restocks the same radar whenever it is available — which also has a Cash cost each restock.

Infinite Radar sits on top of that as a pass rather than a shop item, removing the recurring restock cycle. The practical value is highest in exactly the situation where radar matters most: hunting Divine and Ethereal eggs, where the Eternal Radar costs $30M per restock.

If you are still in the early bands — Advanced at $50, Jewel at $3,000 — the restock cost is trivial and the pass is doing very little for you.

3. When Infinite Radar is worth 399 Robux

Three conditions, and it is worth it when at least two hold: (1) you are routinely running the Magic, Angelic or Eternal radars, where restock prices run $300,000 to $30M in Cash; (2) you leave sessions running and want radar coverage without babysitting Auto-Buy; (3) you have already bought the permanently-useful things and have Robux left over.

And the honest counter-case: nothing in the game requires it. Normal eggs are free, mutations come from storms rather than purchases, and every documented radar is obtainable with Cash. It removes friction; it does not unlock content.

That distinction is worth holding onto given how many sites describe passes as mandatory. The codes page makes the same point about free routes.

4. The three passes you cannot buy

Auto Collect — by its name, automated collection of items or eggs. Instant Hatch — by its name, removing the hatch animation wait. Infinite Backpack — by its name, removing an inventory limit.

We describe them that way deliberately. The passes exist in the official API and have names, but the developer publishes no descriptions and they are not on sale, so any detailed claim about their effects would be invented. The names are the only verified information.

What matters practically is that they are unavailable, so no current decision depends on them. If they come back on sale, the API is the place to check.

5. Robux versus grind, honestly

There is no pay-to-win route documented here. The only pass on sale is a convenience layer on a mechanically free system, and the game's own description makes no mention of purchases at all — it describes finding eggs, hatching pets and mutating them.

So the decision is simple: 399 Robux buys you less radar babysitting during long sessions, and buys you nothing else. If you are not yet running the expensive radar tiers, the same Robux is better left unspent.

For what to spend Cash on instead, see the upgrade order guide.

6. Buy the pass, not a script

The most common bad purchase decision around this game is not a game pass at all — it is a third-party script sold or given away as an 'auto farm' or 'auto hatch' tool. Those violate Roblox's terms and can cost you the account, and the legitimate in-game automation already covers the main use case.

The shop's Auto-Buy switch handles radar restocking, and the Auto Collect pass is the first-party version of the same idea. The scripts guide explains the risk properly.

Frequently asked questions

How many game passes does Ride A Pet have?

Four: Infinite Radar, Auto Collect, Instant Hatch and Infinite Backpack. Only Infinite Radar is currently on sale, at 399 Robux — the other three are listed but not purchasable, according to Roblox's game-passes API.

Is the Infinite Radar game pass worth it in Ride A Pet?

It is worth it if you are already running the Magic, Angelic or Eternal radars, where restocks cost $300,000 to $30M in Cash and Auto-Buy needs babysitting. Nothing in the game requires it — normal eggs are free and every radar is obtainable with Cash.

Does Ride A Pet have pay-to-win game passes?

There is no documented pay-to-win route. The only pass on sale is a convenience layer over the free radar system, and the developer's own description of the game makes no mention of purchases.
